INSPIRATION BEHIND THIS ARTWORK…

Inspired by the place where we were married on Home Beach, North Stradbroke Island, this artwork captures the peaceful beauty of standing along the shoreline looking west as the sun slowly sets across the landscape. This special place holds so many childhood memories for both of us, making it deeply meaningful beyond the beauty of the scenery itself. Soft earthy tones and blush hues reflect the warmth of the fading light, while intricate layers of dots create texture reminiscent of shifting sands, sea foam, and the gentle movement of the ocean. I wanted this piece to embody the nostalgia, emotion, and connection tied to a location that has remained such an important part of our lives.
