Inspired by the breathtaking moment of standing on a beach in Western Australia as the sun begins to set, this artwork captures the way the sand suddenly comes alive with warmth, light, and shifting colour. Soft earthy tones and sweeping layered textures reflect the glow of the fading sunlight across the coastline, while intricate patterns of dots create depth and movement throughout the landscape. I wanted this piece to embody the peaceful beauty of golden hour by the ocean and the feeling of being completely immersed in nature’s quiet magic.
