INSPIRATION BEHIND THIS ARTWORK…

Inspired by my adventures through Alice Springs, this artwork captures the striking beauty of the vast arid landscapes that stretched endlessly across the horizon. The layered earth tones reflect the raw colours of the terrain beneath the intense desert light, while textured bands of dots echo the rugged patterns and weathered surfaces found throughout the landscape. I wanted this piece to express the quiet power and unexpected beauty of these remote environments, where the harshness of the land is balanced by an incredible sense of stillness and wonder.
