INSPIRATION BEHIND THIS ARTWORK…

Inspired by my love for the South Coast of NSW, this artwork reflects the feeling of discovering hidden coastal inlets where the ocean, cliffs, and surrounding landscape seem to merge into one flowing scene. The contrasting blues throughout the piece were chosen to capture the changing tones of the water beneath shifting light, while the layered dot patterns create a sense of texture and movement inspired by waves, weathered rock formations, and the natural details scattered along the shoreline. I wanted this artwork to feel immersive and expansive, like standing quietly above the coastline taking in the endless beauty of the sea.
